Khushbu Fancy & Rediment Store

Down on Bhale Lav Road in the Bajarangwadi area is where we have Khushbu Fancy & Rediment Store. It is a bit of a mix of everything here. We have the fancy items like jewelry and bindi on one side, and then we have the readymade clothes stacked up in the other half of the shop. The road right outside isn't paved very well, so things inside can get a bit sandy if we leave the front door open for too long. I always start the day by sweeping the front step and lighting a bit of incense to make the place smell nice. We have many regular customers who have been coming to see us since we first opened the doors. They often do not even ask about the prices because they trust us. I keep the clothes on these tall wooden racks that go almost all the way to the ceiling. I have to use a long wooden stick with a hook to get some of the plastic packets down from the top shelves. It is quite a workout doing that all day long. The neighborhood is fairly quiet in the mornings, but by the time the local school lets out, it gets very loud with children running around. We do not have any big neon signs or bright flashing lights. There is just a simple board above the door with the name. It is a practical place for the local people in Bajarangwadi.
