Kanaram & Sons

Our family has been working out of Sojat City for a long time. It’s just how we grew up, watching the older generation handle things and then eventually taking over ourselves. The name Kanaram & Sons has been on the sign for as long as I can remember. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything like that. People in town know where we are and what we do. It’s a straightforward business. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk with whoever walks in, and other days we are running around trying to get everything done at once. The building itself is nothing special, just a practical space that works for us. We handle a bit of everything, mostly stuff that people around here actually need. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the location, but we try to keep it decent. We aren't trying to be some big corporation. We’re just local people working in the same city we live in. Sometimes we make mistakes with the paperwork or forget to update a sign, but we always make it right with the customers. That’s just how things go when you’ve been in one spot for decades. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We take the Sundays off mostly to rest and catch up on chores at home. It’s not a fancy life, but it is our life and we’ve been part of this community forever.
