Kabli Mithaiwala

Kabli Mithaiwala is located right at Zarda Bazar 59. It’s a busy spot and we’ve been here for quite some time now. We make various sweets every morning. The market is always crowded, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us working in the back. The trays get filled up early and usually by evening, most of it is gone. We don’t use any complicated machines or anything, mostly just hands-on work. The recipe hasn't changed much since we started. People in Zarda Bazar know us for being consistent. We don’t try to be something we’re not. It’s a plain shop with glass cases. Sometimes the floor gets a bit sticky when it’s busy, but we clean it as soon as we can. We use milk and sugar and whatever else is needed for the day's batch. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but we’re used to it. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. If you walk down Zarda Bazar, you’ll find us easily at number 59. We just keep our heads down and focus on making the sweets. It’s a living, and we enjoy seeing the regulars come back. That's pretty much all there is to Kabli Mithaiwala. We just keep the lights on and the trays full for whoever stops by. Some days we are tired, but we still open up on time every day.
