Jai Shree Fancy Store

Jai Shree Fancy Store has been sitting in Surajpole for a good many years now. People around this neighborhood know the spot well. We sell all sorts of small items like hair clips, ribbons, and different types of bangles. It is a tiny space but we definitely pack it full of goods. You really have to watch where you step when you come inside. Surajpole is a crowded area, so there is always someone walking past our door. We open early most days of the week. Sometimes the light inside the shop isn't very bright, but we always manage to find what the customer needs. It is mostly just family members working here. We do not do much in the way of advertising. People just find us by walking past on their way somewhere else. We have some regular customers who have been coming since they were little kids. Now they bring their own children to buy things. It is nice to see that happening over the years. We get our stock from various different suppliers. Some things are okay quality and some are just cheap items meant for daily use. We don't pretend this is a big mall or a department store. It is just a local shop. The wooden counter is getting old and the paint is chipped at the edges. But it works just fine for us and our needs. We keep a simple ledger for everything we sell and we enjoy being here.
