We run our water supply business from 119 Ramdev Road in Raj Nagar. It is a very busy street, and you will usually see our delivery vehicles parked out front or heading out to make a drop-off. We start our work very early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. That is when we fill the large cans and get everything ready for the day’s deliveries. It is physically tough work, and our backs often ache from lifting the heavy twenty-liter water bottles all day long. The floor of our place is almost always a bit wet from the cleaning and filling process, so we have to be careful not to slip. We don't have a corporate office or a receptionist. It is just a functional space where we get the job done. Most of the people on Ramdev Road know us by sight and just call out when they need a fresh bottle of water. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. We just rely on being there every day and getting the water to people's doorsteps. Sometimes the traffic in Raj Nagar makes us late, or a tire goes flat, but we always try to make it. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite a few years now without much fuss.
