You can find us at the New Sabji Mandi, right near the New Bus Stand at stalls 7 and 8. It’s a loud place with people shouting and trucks backing up all the time. We get here before the sun is even up to start unloading the crates. The fruit comes in and we have to sort through it to see what we’ve got for the day. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around. The bus stand is right there so there is always a crowd of people moving through. We don’t really have time for sitting around much until the afternoon when things slow down a bit. Our space is just a couple of stalls joined together with crates stacked high. It gets dusty and the floor is usually covered in bits of hay or cardboard but that’s just the market life. We talk to the other sellers and the regulars who come in every morning. It’s been this way for a while now and we don't plan on moving. Dealing with fresh stuff means you have to be fast or it goes bad, so we are always on our feet. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where you can see what we have. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We usually wrap things up when the sun starts to go down.
