Jai Ashapura Electronics

Jai Ashapura Electronics is based in shop G-2 at the New Ganesham Plaza. We’re right on the Main Market Road in Sumerpur, directly across the street from Nagraj Electronic. Being in the main market means there’s never a dull moment. Our shop is where we sell electronics and do some repair work on the side. It’s a small space and we have it filled with all sorts of items from floor to ceiling. It can be a bit of a squeeze when there are more than two or three people inside. We don’t have any polished sales pitches or uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to whoever comes in. Most of the people who stop by are from around here, so it feels more like talking to neighbors than customers. We spend a lot of our time at the workbench in the back, trying to figure out why some piece of gear isn't working. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes, but we usually get there. We’ve been in this plaza for a while and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we’ve managed to stay put. We just open up, do our thing, and close up when the market gets quiet. It’s not a complicated life, but it’s ours. We just try to be useful to the people in Sumerpur.
