We’re located on Police Thana Road right here in Sojat City. Being so close to the station means there is always a lot of movement outside our door. The shop itself is just a basic space where we keep our tools and a few glass cases for the watches. We spend most of our daylight hours hunched over the workbench. Fixing watches is quiet work, even with the noise of the traffic on Police Thana Road. We see all kinds of watches, some that are brand new and others that have been around longer than we have. People mostly come in for battery changes or because their watch strap finally snapped after years of use. It’s interesting to see what people wear on their wrists. We don't have any corporate branding or fancy logos, just a simple sign and our tools. Sometimes the heat in Sojat City gets to be a lot, but we just keep the fan going and keep working on the small parts. It takes a lot of focus to get the timing right on an old mechanical piece. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the day, starting early and closing up when it gets dark. Most of our customers are folks from around the neighborhood who know where to find us. We just try to get things working again so people can stay on time. It is a decent way to make a living and we like being part of the local street here.
