Hindustan

Hindustan is the name of our shop, and we are located in the middle of Sarafa Bazar. Specifically, we are in the Sindhi colony at Rui Ktla. This whole area is very crowded and full of energy. The lanes are so narrow that you can barely fit a scooter through some parts. Our shop has been in Rui Ktla for many years. It is a small space, but we have managed to fit a lot of goods inside. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling, and we use a wooden ladder to reach the top. It is always noisy outside with people talking and bells ringing. We like the chaos of the bazaar though. It feels like things are always happening. Inside the shop, it’s a bit quieter but still busy. We have an old desk where we keep the accounts and a few stools for customers to sit on. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept even in the dark corners. We don't spend money on big ads or fancy signs. The word travels by itself in Sarafa Bazar. We drink a lot of tea from the stall across the lane. It’s a traditional way of doing business. We have seen the market change over the years, but Hindustan stays pretty much the same. We just keep doing what we do every day.
