Guru Kripa Beg House

Our shop, Guru Kripa Beg House, is located at number 52 in Satyanarayan Nagar, which is part of Sindhi Colony. We are not too far from the main road, but it is a bit quieter back here compared to the market. We mostly sell bags of all kinds. People usually call them begs around here, so that is how we named the place. We have everything from small purses to large sacks for carrying grain or heavy goods. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack the inventory quite high up towards the ceiling. Sometimes it is a bit of a struggle to get a specific bag down when a customer wants to see it. We spend a lot of time dusting the bags because the street outside can get a bit dry and windy. The neighbors are good people, and we often chat with the shopkeeper next door when things are slow. It is a family-run business, and we have stayed at this same address for a long time now. We don't have any computer systems or high-tech stuff. We just use a simple ledger to keep track of what we sell. It is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. Most of our customers live right here in the colony, so they just walk over when they need a new bag for school or for their travels. It is a basic, honest shop where we try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door.
