Being on Ranakpur Road means we see a lot of people passing through. Our shop is filled with all the electrical bits you’d expect. We have coils of wire, switches, light bulbs, and fuses hanging from the walls. It’s a small shop, so things are tucked into every corner. If you need a specific type of breaker, we probably have to dig through a few boxes to find it. We don't have a fancy computer system to track every little screw, we just know where things are by habit. My family has been doing this for a while. We aren't electricians ourselves, but we’ve seen enough to know what usually works for the houses around here. When the weather gets hot, everyone comes in for fans or capacitors. When it rains, we sell a lot of waterproof tape and outdoor fittings. We don't do any big advertising. People just know we are the place on the road to stop if a light goes out or a socket burns out. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the road gets busy with tourists heading toward the temples. We keep the doors open until late evening. It’s just a simple store trying to keep the lights on for the neighborhood. No fuss, just the parts you need for your wiring.
