Dayar Music Center

Dayar Music Center is on the main street in Pratap Bazar, Rani. We have been sitting here since the days when everyone bought cassette tapes. Now we mostly deal with digital items, small speakers, and some musical instruments. The shop always has some kind of music playing in the background. It is a small place and the walls are covered with old posters of singers and movies. Some of them are very old and starting to peel away at the corners. Pratap Bazar is a lively place to be during the day. We see all kinds of people walking by the front door. We do not have a website or anything modern like that. If you want to know what we have, you just have to come in and ask. We try to help people find the right cable or the right sound for their home. Sometimes we do minor repairs on small electronics if we have the time. It gets a bit messy with wires and tools all over the main counter. My brother and I run the place together. We don't always agree on what music we should play, so the songs change quite often. The shop has a bit of a strange smell, like old electronics and paper, but we are used to it by now. We usually open up around ten in the morning. If the weather is really bad, we might close a bit early. We know Rani well.
