Bheda Bangles

Bheda Bangles is based at No. 26 in Shiv Nagar, just off Mandia Road. This area is known for this kind of work, and you can see a lot of small workshops like ours nearby. We make bangles, and it’s a pretty hands-on process. There’s always the sound of glass or metal clinking, and the smell of the heating furnace is part of every single day. The workshop is a bit dusty, and there are colorful scraps everywhere you look. We aren't a big corporation with a fancy website or a marketing department. It’s just me and a few others working the benches. Shiv Nagar is a busy neighborhood with a lot of families, so there are always kids playing in the street outside our door. Our door is usually open to catch a bit of a breeze because it gets quite hot near the workspace during the day. We spend our time sorting through different sizes and colors, making sure everything is packed into those long cardboard tubes. Sometimes we run out of a certain shade and have to wait for the supplier on Mandia Road to bring more. It’s simple, repetitive work, but it’s what we do. We don’t have a big marketing plan. We just produce the bangles and hope the local sellers like what we’ve made. It’s a small, local life here. We just try to finish our batches and get them ready for the market.
