Bharat Watch Service

Bharat Watch Service is situated right by the Old Bus Stand. It is a place that almost everyone knows because of all the buses and people coming and going at all hours. We have been here for a long time, watching the town change and grow around us. Our main work is just fixing watches. It’s a small space we have, but it has everything we need to get a watch ticking again. When the buses pull in, it gets very noisy, but we are completely used to it by now. We sit at our little desk and work on the very small parts that make a watch go. People drop off their watches while they are catching a bus or coming into town to run errands. We see all kinds of watches, from very old mechanical ones to the newer battery-operated ones. Sometimes someone just needs a new pin for their strap or a quick cleaning. We don't do anything else, just watch service. It’s a simple life here at the Old Bus Stand. We know the regular commuters and the other shopkeepers around this area. The shop has its own rhythm. We open up, tidy the tools, and wait for the first customer of the day. There is always something to do because watches are delicate things and they break often. We just do our best with whatever comes across the counter. No big fuss about it. That’s who we are and where we spend our days.
