You can find us at number 12 in Vardhman Market, which is right in the middle of the busy Sarafa Bazar. Ashok Sharma is the name we have used since we first opened our doors. Being located in Sarafa Bazar means things are always lively and loud around us. There is so much history in these narrow streets and we feel like a small part of it. Our shop isn’t very large at all, but it has everything we need to get through our daily work. We’ve got a few old chairs for anyone who stops by and a desk that has been with us from the very beginning. It isn’t fancy or modern, just a functional space for us. We don’t use complicated words or try to impress anyone with slick talk. We just speak plainly and focus on the job at hand. The market can be a bit overwhelming for some people because of the crowds and the rushing, but we’ve grown to love that energy. We have watched the market change over the many years, but our little spot at Vardhman Market stays pretty much the same. We usually open up in the mid-morning and stay until the lights in the bazar start to flicker on in the evening. We know the tea seller on the corner very well and most of our neighbors feel like family to us. We don't have any big marketing plans, we just show up every day at number 12.
