Ashmi Enterprise

We’ve been here at Bapu Nagar Vistar for quite a while now. The units F 220 and 221 are where we do all our work. It’s right on Mandiya Road, so it gets a bit busy with all the trucks and people passing by every day. When we first started Ashmi Enterprise, we didn't have much, just a few tools and a small desk. Now we’ve got both those spaces filled up. It’s not fancy, just a lot of concrete floors and the sound of machines running most of the morning. Usually, we start early before the heat gets too bad. The neighbors know us, and we know them. Sometimes the tea stall guy comes around and we take a break. We handle a lot of different orders. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the place or check the inventory. Other days, we’re running around trying to get everything loaded up. People ask what we do, and I just say we make things happen. It’s a job, you know? We have a small crew. Most of them have been with us for years. We don't really have a big office or anything, just a corner with some files and a computer that sometimes works. It’s dusty because of the road, but it’s home for us during the day. We just keep our heads down and get the work out the door. That’s pretty much how it goes here.
