Amrit Hardware Painter

We’ve been here on Main Mandia Road for quite a long time now. The shop is usually full of boxes and those big paint tins that people seem to need every time the seasons change. It gets pretty dusty out there on the road, so we spend a lot of time just wiping down the counters and making sure the brushes haven't gathered too much grit. Most of the folks who walk in are neighbors or local contractors who’ve known us for years. They come in for a specific size of screw or a bucket of white wash and usually end up talking for twenty minutes about the weather or the traffic. It’s not a fancy place by any means. There’s a bit of a squeak in the front door that we keep meaning to fix but never quite get around to. The shelves are packed high, and sometimes you have to move a ladder just to see what’s behind it. We know where everything is, though, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. Working with paint and hardware is simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. We just keep the lights on and help people find what they need for their houses. It’s been our daily routine for as long as I can remember, and we don't plan on changing much. Just another day on Mandia Road with the usual crowd stopping by to check prices or grab a hammer.
