Akash Shree Namkeen Bhandar

Down in Subhash Nagar, you will find Akash Shree Namkeen Bhandar tucked between some other shops. We have been working out of this spot for a good while. Every morning starts with the smell of oil and spices. We spend most of our time weighing things out and putting them into plastic bags. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood is fairly quiet during the day, then people start showing up after work to grab something salty for tea. We have some regulars who have been coming here since we first opened. The shelves are usually full of different jars and packets. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle with the narrow lanes in Subhash Nagar, so we have to go out and meet them at the corner. We don't have much space for sitting, so people usually just buy what they need and head home. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the street outside, so we are always sweeping. It is just a regular local shop. We don't do anything special, just keep the snacks ready and wait for the bell to ring. Sometimes we run out of certain items faster than expected, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It is a bit of a scramble sometimes, but we manage. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
