Acme Flora

Acme Flora is located at 217, Adarsh Nagar. It’s a nice neighborhood, and we like being part of it. We deal with flowers and plants, so our place usually looks a bit more colorful than the other buildings on the street. It’s not a huge shop, but we pack a lot into the space we have. You’ll usually see some pots sitting out front on the sidewalk if the weather is good. Inside, it can get a bit humid because of the plants, but it smells nice. We spend a lot of our time trimming stems and making sure everything is watered. It’s a lot more physical work than people think. Your hands get stained and scratched up after a few hours. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people just walk in because they live nearby or they’ve heard about us from a neighbor. We try to keep a good variety of things, but we only stock what looks healthy. If a shipment comes in and the flowers look tired, we don’t put them out. We’d rather have empty shelves than sell something that’s going to wilt the next day. Sometimes we stay late to finish up arrangements for an event. It gets quiet in Adarsh Nagar at night, which is a nice change from the daytime rush. We just enjoy working with nature and being here. It’s a quiet life, but the colors and scents make it worthwhile for us.
