Vohuman Foundation

We are located at House No. 2282 in Tarapur, which is part of the Palghar district. It’s a straightforward setup here. We aren’t in some high-rise building; we just work out of this house. Vohuman Foundation is basically run by people who live nearby or have roots in Tarapur. It feels more like a home than an office most days, which suits us just fine. You won't find any glass walls or receptionists in suits here. Usually, someone is just sitting at a wooden table with a laptop or some files. The weather in Palghar can get a bit humid, so we keep the windows open. We’ve been at this address for a while and most of the locals know the house number by heart now. We handle whatever comes our way regarding the foundation's goals. It isn't always smooth sailing, and sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep at it. There’s a certain rhythm to life in Tarapur that we’ve grown used to. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or anything like that. We just exist here and do the work. It’s a practical way to run things. If someone needs to talk to us, they just walk up to the door. That's the way it has always been for Vohuman Foundation. It's just a small group of us trying to stay busy and helpful in our own little corner of Palghar.
