Our office is over in the Decent Dlite Building, specifically units 103 and 204. We are right on Mahim Road, directly opposite the Gold Cinema. It's a very recognizable landmark, so people don't usually get lost looking for us. The building is a typical mix of commercial spaces. Inside our rooms, we have drafting tables and a few computers set up for our design work. It’s often cluttered with rolls of blueprints and sketches scattered around. We spend a lot of time drawing and talking about building layouts. It’s not a quiet place because we’re always discussing projects or on the phone with contractors. The traffic on Mahim Roadm is pretty constant, so there’s always a background hum of cars and buses. Sometimes we go across the street to get snacks when we're working on a deadline. We aren't a massive firm with a lot of hierarchy. It’s just us doing the drawings and making sure the plans make sense. We've been in this building for a while, and the walls are covered with old projects we’ve finished. It feels like a working space, not a showroom. We just focus on getting the lines right and making sure the measurements work out for the site. It’s practical work that requires a lot of looking at fine details until our eyes get tired. Sometimes we stay late when a plan needs to be sent out the next morning. It's just part of working on Mahim Roada.
