Anurag Plastics Industries

Anurag Plastics Industries is on the first floor of Akshay Industrial Estate. We are in Gala 45. This is in Navghar, over in Vasai East. It’s a typical industrial building, lots of stairs and the smell of oil and plastic everywhere. We have been here for a good while. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of molds and raw material bags piled up near the door. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The fans are always running to keep the heat down, but it still stays warm. My nephew helps me with the packing on the weekends. We don't really have a big office room, just a small desk in the corner with an old computer that takes forever to start. Most of our day is spent watching the machines and making sure the plastic flows right. Vasai East is always crowded, and the road to the estate is full of potholes, so the delivery trucks complain a lot. We just give them some water and tell them to be careful. We aren't a big corporation, just a small shop trying to do our work. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch if the power was out in the morning. That’s just how it goes here. We keep the machines cleaned daily but the floor is always messy by five o'clock.
