Sunaina Sangeet Kala Kendra

Sunaina Sangeet Kala Kendra is situated in Bhayander East, specifically on Muniswamappa Lane at house 402. It is a place filled with sounds, mostly music and the occasional sound of someone practicing their scales. We have different rooms for different things, and it can get quite loud when everyone is playing at once. Being in Bhayander East, we get a lot of kids from the nearby apartments coming in after school. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes in lane 402, especially when parents are waiting outside. We have got instruments tucked into corners and old posters on the walls. It isn't a fancy conservatory, just a local spot where people come to learn a bit of music and art. Sometimes the humidity makes the instruments go out of tune, so we spend a lot of time tightening strings or adjusting things. I usually handle the scheduling and making sure the lights are off at the end of the night. It is a busy life, but it is good to hear the progress the students make over the months. Muniswamappa Lane is a narrow one, so it feels very tucked away from the main road. We have been here long enough that most people know the sound of the tabla or the harmonium coming from our windows. It is just a regular house turned into a center for learning, and it works for us and the community here.
