If you head down Old Satpati Road in the Allyali area of Palghar, you will find our setup at S No 198. We do a lot of work with prefab structures and steel infrastructure here. The yard is usually quite messy with metal beams, welding equipment, and piles of raw materials sitting under the sheds. It gets very dusty during the summer months and the mud is a real problem when the monsoon hits this part of Maharashtra. We are not a big corporate office, just a group of people who know how to handle heavy steel and get things built. Our days start early when the trucks arrive to load up the prefabricated sections. Most of us have lived in the Thane district for years, so we are used to the pace of things here. There is a small desk in the corner of the workshop where we keep the ledger and handle the phone calls, but most of the work happens outside. The noise from the grinders and the clanging of metal is pretty constant throughout the afternoon. We take our tea breaks under the shade of the big tree near the gate. It is hard work and our clothes are always stained with grease or iron filings by the time we head home. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a lobby. People just walk into the yard when they need something done with steel or prefab frames. We just focus on getting the structures ready.
