Shree Kailash Dry Fruit

Our shop is number 4 in the Ganga Smruti Building. It's on the Akurdi-Chikhali Road in Bhayander East. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s a good spot for us. We deal in dry fruits mostly. Shree Kailash Dry Fruit has been part of this community for a while now. We open up in the morning and start by arranging all the bags and jars. It’s a lot of weight to move around, but it keeps us fit. The road outside is usually dusty and busy with people heading to the station or coming home. We get a lot of regular customers from the building upstairs and the surrounding houses. They come in for their monthly supply of almonds or cashews, and we usually end up chatting about the weather or the local news. It’s a very neighborhood-focused kind of place. We don't use any fancy packaging or have a corporate office. It's just us behind the counter. Sometimes the kids from the school nearby pop in to see what’s new. We try to keep the shop clean and the stock fresh, which is pretty much all you can do. Running a small business in Bhayander has its challenges, like the power cuts or the heavy monsoon rains, but we've stuck it out here. It's our little corner of the world and we are happy to stay here.
