Shree Balaji Care Charitable Foundation

Shree Balaji Care Charitable Foundation is based out of Bungalow Number 09 in the bungalow scheme over in Vasai, Palghar. It is a quiet area compared to the main city, which is nice for the kind of work we do. We moved into this bungalow because it gave us more room than a regular storefront or office unit. We use the different rooms to store supplies and have meetings with people who need help. Living and working in Palghar means things move a bit slower, and we like it that way. Most of the people who come to see us are from the nearby villages or the outskirts of Vasai. We don't have a big sign or anything too flashy outside, just the house number. Sometimes people get lost looking for the bungalow scheme, but once they find us, they see we are just regular people trying to run a charity. We don't spend money on fancy decorations; we’d rather keep the bungalow functional for the people who visit. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, so it stays fairly peaceful. We spend our days coordinating care efforts and making sure the supplies we get are going to the right families. It’s a very hands-on job, and being in a residential-style building makes people feel more comfortable when they come to talk to us about their problems. It’s just how we operate.
