Sanjavanimala Foundation

We are based in Boisar, out in the Thane district, inside the Himalayan Co-op Housing Society. The office is located in Building B, Number 22, on the fourth floor. It is a quiet residential area in Deejay Nagar, which is nice because we do not have to deal with the heavy traffic of the main roads. Sanjavanimala Foundation is not a typical corporate office; it feels more like a community space where we gather to plan our work. We started this because we wanted to do something useful in our own neighborhood. Working from a housing society means we see our neighbors every day, and they know what we are up to. The fourth-floor view gives us a bit of a look over the Boisar area, which has grown a lot lately. We spend our days mostly on the computer or meeting with local people to see how we can help out with various things. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much if we have to go up and down a few times a day, but it keeps us active. Our space is filled with files and some old furniture that we have used since the beginning. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who care about the foundation and want to keep things running smoothly. It is a simple life and a simple way of working right here at home.
