Sahastrakoti Sutra Bandhan Foundation

Our place is at Sai Sawali Sadan CHS, specifically Plot No 07 near Ranle Talaw. It is over on MP Road in Virar East. If you know the area, it is quite a lively spot. We have been set up here in this building for a while now. The foundation is something we started to bring people together. It is a bit of a mix of different things we do. Some days we are helping neighbors with their problems, other days we are just sitting around planning the next small project. The office is not much to look at, just a regular room with a few cupboards and a ceiling fan that clicks. We do not really do the whole professional office thing. It is more like a living room where work happens. We focus on the local community in Vasai Virar because that is where we live. There is always something going on with the municipal corporation or the local roads, so we try to stay involved. We are not a big charity with lots of money. Most of what we do comes out of our own pockets or small donations from friends. We just want to keep things moving in the right direction. It is a lot of phone calls and meeting people at the local tea stalls. Sometimes it feels like we are not getting much done, but then something small works out and it feels okay. We are just here at Plot 07.
