Primi Die Maker'S

At Primi Die Maker'S, we work out of Gala No. C-39 in the M. I. Udyog Nagar area. It's located on Cabin Cross Road in Goddev Bhayandar East. This is a very industrial part of the neighborhood, surrounded by other small factories and workshops. The sound of metal hitting metal is pretty much the background music of our day. The gala itself is a compact space, filled with the machines we use for making dies. It’s often hot because of the machinery running, so we keep the doors open as much as we can to let some air in. The floor is concrete and usually has a bit of oil or metal shavings on it, which is just how a die-making shop looks. We don’t have a separate office; our desks are right there near the work area, so we can keep an eye on everything. Most of us have been doing this for a long time, and our hands show the work we do. It’s not a place for clean shirts or ties. We focus on the precision of the dies we are making, often spending hours on a single piece to get it right. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly so we can get back to the machines. It’s a straightforward, hardworking environment where we just focus on the craft of die making without any unnecessary distractions or fancy talk. The area can be quite gritty but it is home to many businesses like ours.
