You can find our clinic at Shop Number 6 in Building Number 9 over in Venkateswar Nagar. We’re on Cabin Road, which stays pretty busy since the railway crossing is so close by. You can hear the trains passing all day long, and the bells from the crossing are just part of the background noise for us now. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit in all the equipment we need for checking eyes and fitting lenses. We have shelves full of frames, though they aren't always in the perfect order. Sometimes we spend a lot of time helping someone pick out glasses while the traffic crawls along outside on Cabin Road. It’s a humble spot in Bhayandar East. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. People mostly come in because they were walking past or they live in one of the buildings nearby. The shop floor is a bit worn from all the people coming in and out over the years. We spend our days adjusting frames and explaining how to clean contact lenses. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we don't mind it. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps the place cool enough. We just open the shop every morning and stay until the last customer is sorted out. It’s a straightforward business in a busy part of town.
