Pens Sahyog Foundation

If you go behind the Chintamani Mandir on M P Road in Virar East, you will find the Ajita Enclave building. We are located on the third floor, at number 15. This is the home of the Pens Sahyog Foundation. Being in Virar means we are a bit far from the main Mumbai city center, but it’s a growing area with plenty of work to be done. Our office is small and tucked away on the upper floor, which keeps it a bit quieter than the street below. We don’t have any polished marketing materials or a big team of experts. It’s just us, a few desks, and a lot of focus on helping out where we can. We spend our days coordinating with local folks and looking into ways we can offer support or cooperation. The climb up to the third floor keeps us fit, though the stairs can be a bit much in the summer heat. We like the location because it’s central to the Virar East community. Most of our visitors are people from the nearby blocks who know us by name. We don't put on any airs or pretend to be some big corporate entity. We are just a local foundation trying to do some good work from a modest office in Thane. Every day is a bit different, but we keep at it because we know the people here rely on us to be around when they need a hand. We often lock up late after finishing the day's correspondence and filing.
