Vasai is always growing, and out here in Pelhar, it’s all about the industrial centers. Our office, Nityanand Nidhi Limited, is in Gala No. 14 of the Parmar Techno Centre. It’s a big complex, Phase-III to be exact. If you’re coming from Waliv, you know how the traffic can be. Our space is tucked away among all the other units. There are people making things and moving trucks all day long. Inside our gala, it’s a different world. We keep it quiet so people can focus on their savings. It’s not a fancy office with leather chairs. We have simple wooden ones and a fan that’s seen better days. Workers from the nearby factories often stop by during their breaks. They want to put away a little money for their families back home. We handle the paperwork and make sure everything is recorded right in the books. Thane can be a bit overwhelming with how fast it moves, but we try to keep things slow and clear here. Taluka-Vasai has changed a lot, but the need for a place to save money stays the same. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything. People mostly find us through word of mouth. Someone tells their friend at the factory, and then they show up at our door. We just sit, talk, and handle the deposits one by one. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy enough. The morning commute is the hardest part, but once we’re here, it’s just steady work.
