Micro Filters & Engineering Industries

We are over at the Dewan & Shah Industrial Estate, specifically in unit 4/15. This is in the Navghar area of Vasai Road East. If you’ve ever been to this industrial estate, you know it’s a maze of small shops and factories. Micro Filters & Engineering Industries has been squeezed into this spot for quite a while. It’s a bit cramped with all the machinery and the filter components we keep in stock, but we make it work. The sounds of our neighbors working on their own projects are always in the background. It’s a real working-class environment. Days are spent tinkering with engineering problems and making sure the filters are put together properly. It’s not a glamorous job. We get dirty, and the air is often thick with the smell of oil and cut metal. But there is a lot of satisfaction in finishing a batch of parts and seeing them ready to go. We usually eat our lunch together at a small table we cleared off in the corner. Having a marketing department or someone to write fancy letters isn't for us. We just answer the phone, take the orders, and get back to the machines. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We like the grit of the Navghar area.
