Meal For India Federation

You can find the Meal For India Federation over at Mira Road East. We are in the Kanungo Excellency building, room 103. It’s in the Kanungo Estate right across from Pooja Nagar. It’s a nice enough spot, mostly residential around us which makes it feel like we are part of the community. We focus on getting food sorted out for people. It’s a lot of logistics, honestly. We have boxes and bags coming in and out quite often. The housing society is pretty quiet, so we try not to make too much noise when we are moving things. We aren't a big factory or anything. We are just a group of people who thought that no one should go hungry if we can help it. The office is a bit cramped because we use so much space for storage. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and delivery guys. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to do it. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us answering the phone and writing down addresses. Sometimes we make mistakes with the filing, but we always fix them eventually. It’s just about being human and trying to help where we can. If you walk past Pooja Nagar, you’re basically there. We’ve been here a while and the locals know us. We are just regular people working out of a small room.
