J. B. Store

If you find yourself in Virar East, specifically in the Manvelpada area, you will find J. B. Store. We are located in Mayureshwar Apartment, right at number 15. The best way to find us is to look for the Manvelpada Talav, which is the big lake just behind our building. It is a busy residential spot, so there are always kids playing outside and people going to and from work. Our store is small and it's where we keep all the daily essentials that the neighbors might need. We open up early in the morning because that is when people are out looking for milk or bread. It’s a simple shop, not one of those big supermarkets with fancy displays. We know most of the people who come in by their first names because they live right upstairs or in the next building over. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded behind the counter when we are restocking the shelves, but we manage. The lake nearby keeps the air a bit cooler in the evenings, which is nice when we are closing up. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the regulars about the weather or local news. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we like the routine of it. We just keep the shelves full and try to be helpful whenever someone walks through the door looking for something specific. There is always a lot of activity in Manvelpada, and we are just happy to be right in the middle of it all.
