Mathai Food Industries

Most people around Oshin Market know where we are, right inside Om Store. It has been a few years now that we’ve been operating Mathai Food Industries from this spot. Usually, the mornings start pretty early when the first crates arrive. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical workspace where we get things sorted. You’ll see plenty of bags piled up and the sound of the machines running is pretty much constant until we close for the day. Sometimes the market gets so crowded that it is hard for the delivery trucks to even park near the entrance, but we manage. We spend a lot of time just keeping track of everything coming in and going out. It is dusty work, honestly. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling all the packaging. We don’t have a big office or anything, just a desk in the corner with a lot of papers and some old folders. The neighbors nearby often drop in for a quick chat when things are slow. It is a noisy place, especially when the fans are on high, but it feels right for what we do. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come. There is always a lot to sweep up at the end of the day, but that is just how it goes here. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a local business doing its part in the market.
