Our place is located over at Vrindawan Heights on the Link Road in Vasai. It is a bit of a drive out from the main city but we like being here in Thane. We occupy unit A/504 and it’s where we handle all our trading business. The building is quite recognizable along the road once you get past the main intersection. Usually, the office is pretty quiet except when we are coordinating a large shipment. We spend a lot of time on the phone or tracking deliveries on the computer. It’s just how we get things done. Maharashtra's weather can get pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going and just push through the workload. We started this as a limited liability partnership because it seemed practical for what we wanted to do. Most of our day is spent dealing with customs papers or checking in with suppliers. It’s not a glamorous job, just steady work. The Link Road area has grown a lot lately, so there's always something happening nearby. We try to keep things simple here. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the export-import cycle doesn't break. Sometimes things get delayed, and we have to fix it. That's just part of being in this kind of business.
