Jan-Lok Seva Foundation

You can find us at Shop No. 07 in Building Number 4 of Nakodaheight. It is in the Vasai-Virar City area, which is part of the Palghar district. The shop is small but it serves us well for what we need. Most days, one of us is there from the morning until the evening. Vasai is growing fast, and there are always people moving around Nakodaheight. We decided to set up Jan-Lok Seva Foundation here because it felt central enough for the local people. We are not big on fancy marketing or anything. We just have a desk, some chairs, and a small computer that sometimes acts up. People from the nearby buildings often drop in. Sometimes they just want to know what we are about, and we tell them simply without using any corporate jargon. We handle a lot of local stuff. It gets quite humid here, especially in the summer, so we usually have the door open to get some breeze. It is a bit noisy with the construction nearby, but that is just how Vasai is right now. We do not have a massive budget or a big team. We just do the work ourselves. It is practical and honest. We have been here for a while and the neighbors know us. We do not make big promises. We just look at what is happening in the community and see if there is a way we can help out. The days go by pretty quick.
