Jaikripalu Prabhu Care Foundation

We are based out of House No. 555 in the Vedhi Rambag area of Palghar. It’s a nice, quiet spot compared to the noise of the bigger cities nearby. We’ve turned part of the family house into the office for Jaikripalu Prabhu Care Foundation. It’s a very local operation through and through. Most of us living and working here have known each other since we were kids. We focus on care work, which means different things depending on who walks through the door. Sometimes it’s helping an elderly neighbor with their groceries, and other times it’s organizing clothes and supplies for a family in need after a storm. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website to show off. We mostly just talk to people face-to-face and hear their stories. The house is always open, and there’s usually someone around if you need to sit down and chat for a while. We keep things very simple here. There are no corporate meetings with powerpoint slides or fancy presentations, just honest conversations around the kitchen table or on the front porch. Palghar is a beautiful place, and we feel lucky to be doing this work right here in our own backyard. We aren't trying to change the whole world at once, just our small corner of it. It’s a lot of manual work and logistical stuff, like moving heavy boxes or driving people to their appointments. We do what we can with what we have. It’s just a group of friends.
