Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital is located at 113-114 Shiv Shambhu Industrial Estate in Bhootpada Valiv. Even though our name mentions Udaipur and Rajasthan, this specific place is right here in Vasai East, Mumbai, just off NH8. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by factories and warehouses, which is a bit different from a typical hospital setting. It’s a large complex because we handle both the medical college and the hospital side of things. There are always students walking around with their books and patients waiting in the lobby. The building is quite plain and functional. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather focus on the classrooms and the wards. Since we are near the highway, we get a lot of traffic noise, and it can be a bit of a struggle for people to get here during peak hours. We serve a lot of the workers from the nearby industrial units. The layout is a bit spread out, so it takes a few minutes to walk from one department to another. We don't have a corporate team writing our stuff; we are just the people who work here every day. It’s a busy, somewhat noisy place where a lot is happening at once. We just keep our heads down and focus on the teaching and the patient care that needs doing.
