Dr.Wadekar Hospital

Up on Annapurnapark Mainroad, you can find Dr.Wadekar Hospital. It is a big enough building that you can't really miss it if you are driving by the park area. We have been operating here for some time, and the place has its own rhythm. The main entrance stays pretty busy with people coming in and out from the Mainroad all day long. Inside, the floors are that white tile that shows every footprint, so we are constantly mopping them to keep the place looking decent. It isn't a corporate hospital with a huge lobby, just a practical space where we have the beds and the medical equipment set up. You can hear the sounds of the street from the upper floors, but the back rooms are a bit quieter since they face away from the Annapurnapark traffic. We have a few benches outside where families sit when the weather is nice. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps us see what we are doing during the night shifts. It is a functional hospital, nothing more and nothing less. We deal with the usual stuff you expect in a local place, from scraped knees to bigger things that require staying over for a few nights. The staff is mostly local people who have lived around Annapurnapark for years. It’s a busy spot, but we try to keep things organized as best as we can given how many people stop by.
