Dr Jerome Hospital

The hospital is situated right near the Main Bridge on Malyan Road. It is a very easy spot to describe because everyone knows the bridge. Dr Jerome Hospital is one of those buildings that has been part of the Malyan Road landscape for some time. You can hear the vehicles going over the bridge throughout the day, which becomes a kind of background hum after a while. The road outside can get a bit muddy during the rainy season, but it stays busy regardless. Inside the hospital, things are kept simple. We have the wards and the consultation rooms laid out in a way that makes sense for the space we have. It’s not a massive corporate facility, but it has what is needed. The benches in the lobby have seen a lot of people over the years. We have a few windows that look out towards the road. The staff here are mostly local people who know the area well. It’s a practical place for the community. Sometimes the power flutters a bit when there’s a storm, but we have things in place for that. Most folks come here because they live nearby and don't want to travel all the way into the main city. It’s just a local hospital doing what it can on Malyan Road. We don't spend much time on aesthetics, just on keeping things running for the people who need us.
