Dhanvantari Hospital Virar Vaitarana Medical Center Manor

Up in Manor, in the Palghar district, we have the Dhanvantari Hospital Virar Vaitarana Medical Center. It’s a bit of a long name, but folks around here just know us as the local hospital in Manor. Being out this way, away from the main city rush, means things move at a slightly different pace for us. We get people coming in from the nearby villages and the Taluka area, sometimes traveling quite a bit on buses or old bikes to get here. The air is a bit clearer out here, and we have a bit more space than the cramped city clinics. The building is functional, nothing too fancy, with plenty of windows to let the breeze in when it’s not too hot outside. We deal with all sorts of things, from farm accidents to regular seasonal fevers. The staff is used to the long hours, especially when the monsoon hits and the roads get difficult to travel on. We don't have a big corporate office telling us what to do; we just look at what the people in Manor need and try to provide it. The waiting room often has people sitting and chatting while they wait for their family members to finish their appointments. It’s a community feel, really. We’ve got a small canteen nearby where everyone goes for snacks and tea. It’s just a practical place for health matters in this part of Palghar.
