Delhi Darbar Inn

Over at Kashimira 8, you will find Delhi Darbar Inn. It’s a place that has been around for a bit and we have seen the area change quite a lot. We are not a big hotel with a lobby or anything, just a simple spot where people can get a meal. The name Delhi Darbar Inn might sound a bit grand, but we are actually pretty low-key. We have a few tables and the chairs are the basic plastic kind. It gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we are always wiping things down. Most of our customers are locals from Kashimira or people traveling through who need a break. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us doing everything from taking orders to washing the dishes. Sometimes it takes a while to get served if we are busy in the back. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook what we know how to make. The menu is mostly stuff we have been making for years. It’s a bit noisy with the fans and the traffic, but it feels like home to us. We stay open late most nights because that is when people seem to be hungry around here. We just do our best to keep things running at Kashimira 8 without making a big deal out of it or acting special.
