Adivasi Yuva Seva Sangh

We are based out in Waghadi, in the Kasa area of Dahanu Taluka. It’s a place where things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We work within the community here, focusing on the needs of the local youth and the families around us. Our office is a simple space, nothing more than what we really need to get our meetings and planning done. A lot of our time is spent out and about rather than sitting behind a desk. We talk to people, listen to what they need, and try to help out where we can. It’s not about being corporate or anything like that; it’s just neighbors helping neighbors. The landscape around Kasa is quite beautiful, especially after the rains when everything turns green. We deal with a lot of different situations every day, so no two days ever really feel the same. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to reach the further villages, but that’s just part of being here. We don't have a big budget or anything, so we make do with what we have and keep our focus on the people. It’s a lot of grassroots effort and staying connected with the community roots through the Ayush Adivasi Yuva Shakti initiative. We’re just a group of local people trying to make a small difference in our own corner of the world. We don't have fancy titles, we just do what is needed on that particular day. It’s good to be here.
