Core Analogics

Our place is at 103-B in the Diamond Industrial Estate. It’s over in Navghar, Vasai Road East. If you are coming from the station, it’s a bit of a ride through the local traffic. The estate itself is pretty crowded with all sorts of small factories and workshops. We do analogics, which sounds more complicated than it is when you are actually doing it. Most days it’s just us sitting at benches with components and soldering irons. The building isn't much to look at, just your typical industrial unit with a heavy metal door that’s hard to open. We usually keep the door propped open with a brick just to get a bit of a breeze going through the workshop. It can get pretty noisy when the neighbors are running their machinery. We have a small office area tucked in the corner where the computer stays. We don’t really have a big brand or anything like that. We just fix things and put boards together. Sometimes we run out of space because of all the boxes, so we have to have a big cleanup on Saturdays. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. It’s a simple life in Vasai. We are not trying to be some big tech giant. We just like making sure the circuits work correctly. It’s honest work and it pays the bills for us. People know us in the estate, and we help each other out with tools or supplies when needed. We just do our bit.
