Blue Wave Pre Engineering

Our shop is number 9 in Master Mansion, which is tucked behind the Baug E Firdaus Masjid in the 4th Nizampur area. We’re also quite close to the bus depot, so it’s a busy part of town with a lot of people moving around. We work on engineering projects, mostly pre-engineering stuff, which involves a lot of technical drawings and planning before any actual building starts. The shop itself isn't fancy at all. It’s just got some metal desks, a couple of older computers that have definitely seen better days, and rolls of blueprints sitting everywhere. It’s often a bit dusty because of the construction going on nearby, but we don't mind. We spend most of our time staring at designs and trying to figure out how to make things fit together properly. It’s a lot of math and double-checking measurements. The noise from the bus depot is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We aren't a big corporate firm with secretaries and coffee machines. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a project. Sometimes a client comes in and we sit around a cluttered table to talk through the details. It’s practical, hands-on work. We’ve been in Nizampur for a while and have seen the neighborhood change, but we just keep doing our thing in Shop 9. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important to get the engineering right.
