Bilkis Clinic

Bilkis Clinic is found at Shop No-8 in the Sangrila Apartment over in Mira Road. It’s a small place right in the middle of a residential area. Being in a building like Sangrila means we see a lot of the families who live upstairs or in the buildings right next to us. Thane is a big district but Mira Road feels like its own little world sometimes. The clinic is just a single shop unit. We keep the medicine and the basic tools we need tucked away in the back. The front part is where people sit and wait their turn. It’s not a fancy office with big signs. We just have the name on the door and the address so people can find us easily. Working in a place like this means you get to know the neighbors. You see the same kids growing up and the same older folks coming in for their checkups. The street outside can get a bit dusty, but we try to keep the inside of Shop No-8 as tidy as possible. It is a humble spot. We don't spend much time on anything other than seeing the people who walk in with a cough or a fever. Life in Mira Road moves fast, but inside the clinic, we try to take things one person at a time. It’s been our location for a while and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the apartment building around us. It is just what we do here, keeping things simple for everyone.
