Sumit Arts

Sumit Arts is located at Gala 204 in the H Building of the Kasturi Vandana complex. We are right by the Kasturi Industrial Estate on the Mira-Bhayander Road in Bhayander East. It’s a very industrial part of town, so there is always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. Our workspace is essentially a large room filled with frames, sheets of glass, and rolls of canvas. It’s a bit of a messy place because there is always some cutting or painting going on. We have sawdust from the frames and bits of scrap material scattered around the floor. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. Most people find us because they need something framed or they want some specific art work done for their home or office. We spend our time measuring wood, cutting glass, and making sure the corners of the frames line up properly. It’s physical work that requires a lot of attention to detail. Bhayander East is a busy area, and the road outside is almost always congested. We just stay inside our gala and work through the orders. It’s not a fancy art gallery, just a place where things are made by hand. We like the smell of the paint and the wood, and we don't mind the dust. It’s a honest way to spend the day, making things that people will eventually hang on their walls.
