Ayurvedic Clinic

You can find us on Jawhar Road, which is a fairly central spot for people to get to. We’ve had this clinic here for many years now. The building is one of the older ones on the street, so it has some character, even if the doors creak a little when you open them. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with all sorts of glass jars and cloth bags. We don't have a big fancy lobby or any marketing posters on the walls. It’s just a functional space where we work. Our days usually start early because there is a lot of preparation to do before the doors open. We have to measure out the powders and make sure everything is in its right place. Jawhar Road gets quite noisy in the afternoons, but inside the clinic, it stays relatively peaceful. We see all sorts of people coming in. Some are locals who live just around the corner, and others travel a bit further. We don't use much technology here. Most of our notes are handwritten in thick ledgers. It’s just how we’ve always done it. There’s a small tea stall just a few doors down where we go when things get quiet. We’ve become friends with most of the other shop owners on the road. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a plain clinic where we do our daily tasks and help the people who walk in. It’s a steady, simple way to live.
